Our First Grant!

Thank you to Digital-Lift for awarding DICE a software technology grant of $978! This grant will be used to upgrade the website and add more advanced and additional features for our Events Calendar and organization among other improvements. We also purchased accounting software that is PayPal-friendly to reduce the amount of time needed for our volunteer bookkeepers.

Forming a nonprofit seemed a little crazy just 6 months ago, but it felt really awesome to get awarded our first grant to help our community! In addition to this grant, we have received numerous free subscriptions for other software we’ve been using all along. The nonprofit status continues to support our community in ways we weren’t able to in the past.

Thank you everyone who has supported us in this endeavor! We can’t wait to see what other opportunities we will have in the future! If you want to get involved, please consider attending our board meetings. We have lots of small volunteer roles that can be filled, including grant writing!
